Hi, I’m Sarah Legault.
Veteran Educator • Instructional Coach • Founder of Teachers Empowerment Network
After 25 years in education, one thing has become very clear to me:
The strongest classrooms aren’t built by managing students better. They’re built by intentionally creating the kind of classroom you want students to be part of.
For a long time, I did what a lot of teachers do.
I focused on behavior. I searched for better strategies, stronger consequences, and new ways to get students to listen, follow directions, and stay on task.
Everything changed when I stopped asking, “How do I manage this class?” and started asking, “How do I intentionally build the classroom I actually want to teach in?”
WHAT CHANGED
Students took more ownership.
Expectations became something students understood and practiced.
Relationships became a real part of how the classroom worked.
And I spent less time managing every little thing and more time actually teaching.
Why I Created Teachers Empowerment Network
I created Teachers Empowerment Network to help teachers build the kind of classrooms they actually want to teach in.
Not someone else’s classroom. Not another program to follow perfectly. And not a pile of ideas that leaves you wondering what to do first.
I want teachers to understand what to build, what to strengthen, and what to do when real classroom life gets messy.

Because when expectations are clear, relationships are strong, routines are explicitly taught, and students have a real role in the classroom, we prevent a lot of the behavior we otherwise spend our days reacting to.
